The 32nd edition of the esteemed FAIM (Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing) Conference took place from June 18 to June 22, 2023, at the prestigious Instituto Politécnico do Porto. The event, held under the theme “Establishing bridges for more sustainable manufacturing systems,” provided a platform for experts and professionals in the manufacturing and automation sectors to discuss cutting-edge advancements and trends.
One of the highlights of the event was the participation of DIMOFAC, whose presence was emphasized by the presentation of the work titled “Asset Administration Shell modeling and implementation enabling Plug and Produce capabilities for modular production.” The presentation was delivered by Felix Vidal, Head of Smart Systems and Smart Manufacturing at AIMEN, one of our partners at DIMOFAC, who delved into the intricate details of their groundbreaking research.
