Objectives of the Escape Room:

• Understanding the offerings and challenges of Industry 4.0.

• Development of soft skills such as time management, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, problem-
• solving, negotiation, initiative, analytical ability, and familiarity with new technologies.

Session Mechanics:

• Teams of 3 members connect to a website for the game.
• Each player accesses the game with a different button, revealing unique information necessary for progression.
• Players communicate with teammates, either in person or through a video call, to solve puzzles.
• The game includes a hint system for challenges, and if time runs out, players can continue playing.

How to Lead the Session:

• Basic Information: Up to 25 students, 1:30 duration.
• Structure: Presentation of Industry 4.0 and related stakes (45 minutes), followed by a Virtual Escape Room (45 minutes).
• Presentation outline covers the essential role of manufacturing, its historical evolution, current challenges, and potential solutions with new technologies.
