DIMOFAC partners Centre Technique Industriel de la Plasturgie et des Composites France (IPC) and SIEMENS, took center stage at the prestigious EMMC International Workshop held in April 26-28, 2023.
EMMC has gained recognition as a premier cross-cutting event, fostering meaningful exchanges on strategic matters and identifying areas of improvement and potential actions to propel the field forward. The 2023 edition focused on the convergence of materials, digitalization, and the green transition, exploring diverse perspectives such as model development, data and knowledge representations, software tools, industrial transformation, and policy frameworks. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with peers, stay updated on the latest advancements in materials and digitalization, contribute their insights, and shape future research policies.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of scientific posters, which provided a platform to share research related to the workshop’s theme or to showcase organizations and their services and products. IPC and SIEMENS featured the DIMOFAC project through a poster placed in the Model Development category. The poster highlighted the project’s objectives, its modeling approach, experimental validation, and virtual sensor technologies.
